Magnolia High School: Garnered Class 4A All-State accolades as a senior at Magnolia High School in Arkansas, averaging 28.5 points, 3.3 assists and 3.0 steals per game ... helped lead the squad to the championship game of the state tournament, averaging 34.0 points per game in the postseason and claimed all-tournament honors for his efforts ... Magnolia concluded the year 23-6 ... also named to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s All-Arkansas Team ... as a junior, he posted season averages of 25.1 points, 6.6 assists, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game at Oxford High School in Mississippi ... claimed district most valuable player accolades and was named the Oxford Eagle Player of the Year for 2004-05.
