MU loses to Syracuse 87-72

SYRACUSE, N.Y. PG Jonny Flynn and Donte Greene both scored 21 points as the Syracuse Orange(19-12, 9-9 Big East), beat Marquette (No. 20 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) 87-72 on Saturday. Marquette was lead by Jerel McNeal’s 22 points while Wesley Matthews added 14. Marquette finishes the regular season at 22-8 and 11-7 in The Big East.
