Seton Hall was led by Jeremy Hazell who had 18 points. The Pirates (15-10, 5-7) played with very little intensity. In the first half, Marquette went on a 15-0 and led SH, 21-4 lead. The Golden Eagles led 40-22 at the half.
Seton Hall's star guard Jamar Nutter was ejected from the game in the second half throwing a flagrant elbow to the throat of Marquette's Dominic James.
Marquette(17-6, 7-5 Big East Conference) now plays No 23 Pittsburgh this Friday at the Bradley Center.
