MU Preview with Asst Coach Brad Autry

Posted Oct 15, 2013

On Media Day, I was able to catch up with MU asst coach Brad Autry. It was hard to do so I jumped at the opportunity. There were 15 recruits in town for Madness and the assistant coaches were busy all weekend. I asked Brad to look back at the successful '12-13 season, the Big East Conference Championship, Elite 8 and the huge win against UCONN

when Acting Head Coach Autry watched as Junior Cadougan launched a 30 foot three to put the game into OT.

In Part 1, I also asked Coach to preview the newcomers. [10 min audio]Listen to Audio

In Part 2, Coach Autry provides more insight into the players. He discounts recruiting rankings when talking about how impressed he is with Jajuan Johnson, a natural scorer who can get to the rim. Freshman John Dawson has shown flashes. A strong powerful athlete who has not backed down. The new guys will be counted on for big roles.
